tranny neutral switch or shift switch

how would i make this work?

i have a 03 47re with the black square switch

i bought a 99 47re that uses the other types


how do i install the 99 one in my truck and make it work?

is there some kind of adaptor that i can use the square type? or do i have to rewire the plugin on my truck to fit the other style?
