I am looking at purchasing a 6810 harvester to do some custom work. My question is does anyone know what one of these things burns fuel wise per hour. A buddy thinks it has a 855 cummins in it, but that seems to big for a 6810. Not sure but if anyone has a rough number per hour would be great, or if you have a combine with a 300ish hp engine in it what you burn an hr. Thanks.

Well that does help some. i know it has about a 270 gallon tank. i am guessing it wouldnt burn more than 25 gal an hr so you could get a 10 hr day out of it before refueling. Good/Bad guess?

Well I work for a Deere dealer, and I can find just about any other spec you need on it, but fuel consumption. It does have the Iron-Gard Metal Detector on it and that will save a ton in parts. Just to confirm, it has a 185 gal fuel tank. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I do know a couple of farmers that have these and they seem to be happy with them.
