Orange peel happened because you didn't apply the clear coat properly, used the wrong reducers/chemicals or had the wrong spray gun setup or air pressure. The only way to get rid of it is keep wet sanding it until it's flat. If you buff it and arent getting a good shine, use an extra-cut compound and that should help you out.

wet sand with 1500 grit. wipe away water to see if where your sanding is all smooth and sanded, if it is flat it will all be sanded dull looking, if you still have bumps or orange peel you will see where the paper is not hitting the bottom of the bumps. it takes time and dont do the edges around corners itll eat through to the primer so fast you wont see it coming. i just lay my top coat on as wet as i can without running so the paint "flows" evenly because i hate wet sanding.....

i just repainted my hole truck. stock clear sucks to get smooth i sprayed it with PPG DC 4000 its a expensive clear. if you want alot of shine with fresh clear 4-8 hours wet sand it then let it sit over night it will allow solvents to fully leave clear then buff it with cutting compound swirl remover then a finishing compound and it will look like glass and shine like a show truck.
