How to?? carier bearing?

does anybody have a link maybe with pics of how to repalce the carrier bearing in our trucks? its been many years since i did one and it was on a 84 chevy scottsdale. thanks in advance to any and all info.

ohh, I dunno about THAT part, but I do know that I just got mine done, and it had to go in to the machine shop to get the old one off lol. So have fun with that.

I had to cut the old one off after i pulled the driveshaft. I cut most of the way through it and when i was close to the shaft, used a chisel to break the inner race. To install it i ended up using a small trailer hub since it was the only thing taht would fit over it.

i know mine isnt too bad, but i am anal about my vehicles and want every lil thing fixed. i cant stand any leaks, noises, etc. heck, i have a leak now and it drives me crazy. it makes me think its a valve cover gasket but i have replaced it once already. even checked the valve cover to make sure its straight. still dont know where its coming from.
