Don't drop it !
Seriously, Make sure the old O-Ring comes off and the new one stays in place when installing. Prefill the filter, Loosten the bleed screw and you shouldn't have to pump but a few times. Might not have to at all. I don't

Just did mine yesterday. Went in through the wheel well so I could get a straight shot at the filter. Had to use an oil filter wrench to get it off, dealer did the last one. New filter was a little bit of a pain to get on, but not too bad, just need patience. Primed until the plunger was hard, then opened the bleed screw, repeated this until only fuel came out of the bleed screw. Truck fired right up.

do yourself a favor & get one of these http://www.lislecorp.com/tool_detail.cfm?detail=549
so you don't F up the WIF sensor.
& also get a tack puller to pull the plastic pins that hold the inner fender liner out, alot easier than going over the top
