this seems to be a big deal every year.. I always see a couple guys going to buy a blanket or modifying theres.. Im reading in the rules that it just needs to cover bellhousing. I just wanted to confirm this?

yes just needs to cover the bellhousing. be sure to attach the straps to the block and your good to go.
