starting issue

i have a 97 ctd it crankes over fine, not slow. but it cranks and cranks before it will finally start. the problem just started and its having to crank over more and more each daym. any ideas?
 
air leak...check the plastic lines running by the fire wall. You can test the OFV by pinching off the rubber portion of the return line and see if the problem goes away.
