Im overhauling my CR and wanted to know if anyone could help on what pistons to use mahle or cummins.....im overhauling because of cracked rings. It has 200k on her so im just doin everything. Another thing is what is a good size injector to go....i was wanting to go 100 to 150hp range... i can get them honed at a local shop or should i just buy aftermarket?

You need the 04.5 to 07 pistons. 03-04 are different pistons.

04.5 - 07 5.9 Standard bore.
Montherms are steel pistons and have .075 deep valve pockets if you want to run a large cam.
Retail for $500 per hole. I'd sell significantly cheaper. I may be parting out all my performance stuff.
The wrist pins have the special coating as well ( forgot the name of it).

Well just tore the head off and found out I might be better finding a running engine cause 1 3 and 5 are passing oil and number 6 is beat to help cylinder and head so it might be cheaper and the turbo is screwed with slop ......I have one on eBay for 5k that is overhauled with cam and polished and ballenced crank ready to go back together with gaskets but no turbo and one for 6800 by it now that's stock with 66k on it with turbo ........here's the links which one yall think is better?
