My daily driver is an 88 Chevy 2500 2wd. Got a used "early" NV3500 called a HM290 (with 4 shift rails) which I did not remove from 88 p/u being parted out.

Question: The T/O bearing fork sits on a ball stud with a 1/4 inch rod with threaded "square" end.

Does anyone know what goes on this rod after the fork? Is there a spacer, washer or just a nut. And what kind of nut is it? Thanks.
