fuel injector pump?

i here that if u pull the cover on the injector pump and turn the screw u can get alot more power out of a 7.3 idi turbo is that a true ? b4 i try it id like to here if any 1 else has tryed that

There isnt a whole lot of adjustment but 1/4 turns are a lot on the IDI. I suggest seems how u have a turbo (is it wastegated?) 1/2 turnshould be sufficient. I turned mine 3/4 with out, and smoke is somewhat manageable.

When u add fuel to a turbo diesel your going to get more power. Banks only says like what 1/4 or an 1/8 th of a turn? I cant remember now, but my bud has a banks kit and it was something like that. Hows yer tranny/clutch? when we turned up the fuel on my buds with a ZF 5 we started slipping the clutch. :rockwoot:
