Hello all,

I am in the process of searching for a 1st gen. I found a 1992 regular cab dually with 190K miles. The individual selling it claims it falls out of overdrive sometimes, has some dents and needs paint (typical). He is asking $3000 for it. Does the truck sound worth it?

I would say so. I found a regular cab 2wd for 1500 bucks. It was pretty rough, and I didn't know the mileage. I never called on it. I wish I would have sometimes. It would have been a fun project.

Bad TPS. nothing unusual. takes about $60 bucks & 60 seconds to fix.
 
It also might be the little electronic doo-dad back there. Some people have hard wired it and switch it on when they need it.
