Buddy of mine installed a Mini Maxx, turbo back exhaust, and intake on a 2011 6.7 this past weekend and today he's got oil coming out his exhaust, he was cruising at 75 MPH and then stepped on it - appearently went 'poof' and the smoke went from black to blue. He shut the truck off immediately. It will start and run. Will it be his turbo that's gone?

I haven't seen the truck or I'd have the turbo apart already

Turbo would be most likely culprit...

yep. turbo it was. Compressor wheel all busted up, shaft broken, and turbine wheel halfway down the exhaust + pieces of compressor wheel in the air filter. It's common apparently - got it replaced on warranty.

How many miles do you have on the truck?

It wasn't my truck, was a buddy's 2011. He had 10,000 miles. Covered completely under warranty. :Cheer:

Did he have anything else done to the truck? other than exhaust and intake?

How did the warranty work with having the after market parts on? I just put all the same parts on my 2010 hope my turbo last:st:
