g56 rebuild???

Has any one on here tackeled rebuiling a g56 or know of a good shop??? Im wanting to swap out the 68rfe for the 56, Ive got one that I broke the shaft in out of my 06 but wanted to see if its cheaper to rebuild or just buy a new one, that is if I can find one

Dang near easier to just but another used one for a couple grand or less.

Ya I figured so but thought I'd check, I bought a new one off a guy for 2 grand when it broke but don't think I'll get that lucky again
