ev2 pyro

I have an ev2 1600 deg pyrometer in my truck. It has worked flawlessly until a month or so ago. Most of the time it reads around one hundred degrees, and every once in a while it will spike to 1600. I checked and re checked all of my wiring and found no issues. This leads me to believe the thermocouple has went bad. Is there any way to check the voltages it should be reading to determine if this is the culprit? Thanks in advance.

I actually talked to you day before yesterday. New thermocouple solved my problem. Thanks again for the great customer service!
