my dad just bought a 2008 gmc 2500 duramax completley stock i was wanting some advice and whats the best tuning for the money and some weak points in the motors just generally advice on building one thanks

Nothing weak in the motor as far I am concerned..just the u-joints wont handle much.

Weak to what extent? Stock power levels? 1000 hp? More information.

Efi live by atp trucks turbo back exhaust, lift pump, idler/pitman supports, kryptonite tie rods and you will be set

LMM's are very solid trucks, the best GM has built to date. You just have to deal with the emissions equipment then your good to go. As far as modding them, they seem to be holding up decently at or around 700 rwhp on a stock block. The rest of the truck just requires usual maintenance...

EFI live and exhaust will definitely wake the truck up and will notice gain in fuel mileage and a badass tone
