Kinda far fetched, BUT, does anyone know anyone who can get ahold of a 3D model of a factory Dodge air to air intercooler for the 03-09 model years? We want to run some analysis on the air flow.

Thanks.

Do you have 3D modeling capabilities? It wouldn't be hard to model one.

if i had access to 3d modeling software, NX, solidworks etc... wouldnt be hard to make one up at all... really wish i did have access too, but those licenses are stupid expensive!

Only thing that would be a little bit difficult is getting the tubes right without having to cut one apart.

And yeah, they are stupid expensive. Luckily, That's all i do all day at work so ive got unlimited access to it.

Never used NX. We use Autodesk Inventor here

its extremely similar to solidworks, you can ever share files in between the two programs to do Finite Element Analysis, stress/strain, etc... very user firendly... but like i said, WISH i had access... i havent ever used Autodesk, heard about it though..

I hate NX. Once I learned Catia I found it way easier. That being said, I don't m or where you could even find a CAD file for the intercooler for a production vehicle unless someone tried doing it on their own

Oh I hate inventor! Drove me nuts when I had to do stuff in inventor after using solidworks. May be because I was used to solidworks or it may be because inventor is inferior in every way to solidworks :hehe:
