My tank has I lite coat of rust in it just wondering if anyone knew any tricks?

Take the tank off and throw in some ball bearings (just the balls ) or small hex nuts and shake the chit out of it.That will help break the rust up then take a vacum to get the rust out. Be sure to fit it with water and drain it first.

Gravel stones from the driveway is the best I have found to break up rust. Make sure you coat the inside of it with something after you are done. There is a place at work we use that lines them with rubber/plastic kind of material....cant think of them right now...

Yup spend the bucks for the liner , you'll be a lot happier . Dane

What's the tank out of? I have had good luck with diesel fuel and river rock.
