Had a t9.615 come in for a track repair. These things are insane. I have been around and operated the Case quadtracs but this almost puts it to shame.

That is the first one of those I've seen in the taht wasn't brand new. New Hollands are virtually non existent around here about 110 hp. How much of that tractor is actually New Holland and how much of it is a case design painted blue? I'm just curious is all.

The tractors are pretty close to being the same, some differences in the fuel tanks and the interior items. How was it replacing and setting up the new bearings? Those tracks are pretty cool, except for the price tag.

That's a 550 horse tractor isn't it? I can't even imagine how nice that tractor would pull

Old thread but 615 horse in certain applications. Normal power is about 550. With constant flow out of remote #3 or above or in gear 14 or above it is 615 horse.

Yeah New Holland rates their power at the crank on the side. So a 615 has a max power at the crank of 615. Obviously PTO horsepower is more important in the ag world in terms of a power rating but yes these things pull nice. The track design is special to the New Holland where the quad trac case ih machines are a little different in that aspect.

Nice tractors though. We have 4 of these t9.615 out and they are beasts. These new tractors sure do eat up the DEF though!

Yeah I just couldn't remember what the actual horsepower was. We have a customer that had a tg285 and he bought a t8.300 thinking it had more power. He's just a little disappointed lol

LOL yeah we have had that too. We had one of the new t8.420 I think it was at our shop. 400+ horse front wheel assist is pretty nasty. It made me laugh though because it reminded me of the customers we have who bought some of the lower horse 4wd tractors thinking just because it was 4wd it would be Big Bud and pull anything.
