I have had a FASS on mine since it had 22K on the clock .... 80K and counting ..... it has had 450+HP with some VERY hard miles .... it was a test rat for Superchips ... and we are still kicking ...........

Do you run it inline with the factory lines?

I am running the 1792 also. Just took the flex line that goes from the top of the tank to the metal pipe off, heated up some 1/2" ID fuel hose and slid it over and clamped it. No problems so far.

Only downfall to the 1792 is it wont free flow if it fails, will still run though.

There are plenty of pumps out and only a few complete kits so it depends on what your buddy is looking for in a system. Some are free flow while others are not.

Well he has a edge juice n attitude/ppe excel stack. A 5 inch exhaust turbo back and an intake. The rest of the truck is stock and he has no clue what to do for the fuel system or anything else for that matter.

No trans work??

That stack and no Tranny work is playing with fire..tell him to save his money on the pump untill he gets a tranny that can handle it.

BTW I run a Super Diesel Lift Pump set up.

PPE Lift Pump over 1792, it is the same as the Edelbrock 1792, but has gaskets and seals that hold up to ULSD.
