Diesel gauge cluster in 1500

I would like to swap to the diesel cluster will this work the plugs look the same?

A 1500 cluster worked in my 2500 so I don't see why it wouldn't work the other way around.

What year are we taking about? Assuming a ram. For 94-02 the same year will swap out except 94-97 v10.

94-97
98-2000ish
2001-2002.

Should work. Aren't the numbers on the temp gauge different? Not major but I think so.

that wouldn't surprise me my temp guage is always on the low side.
