I figured I would post up some pictures of the carbon fiber fenders Randy did for my race truck. They truly are a work of art! The weigh in at about 2lbs a piece! These pics are just clamped on. I'm getting ready to dzus fasten them on as we speak.

You can see from the pics the body lines are nearly perfect! He is making doing a hood, bumper, and doors now! I can't wait to get them

Not true carbon fiber...randy says the hood should weigh 8-10lbs when finished

For a 72 riviera? I doubt that! I bet i would drop 80lbs offs the front going toa cafiber hood.

Thats one large hood to have fabled in Carbon fiber. You would definitely benefit from it.

Who is the person who did this for you? What kind of price range roundabout was it if you don't mind sharing?

Randy at Oldskool fab did them. He's not a sponser here so I don't want to pimp him too much. You will have to contact him for pricing. Just go to oldskoolfab.com

You might want to do the doors too.

Or could just put the drivetrain into a rclb truck and it would be lighter lol

Theni wouldn't have any weight to swing when i park in a tight spot!
Car only weighs 5400 at full weight right now..

Sorry to derail, Syrupdawg, all you now!

I think if he was a sponsor he wouldnt be able to keep up, the roll pans and stacks i have personally seen look bad a s s too.
PM for early 3rd gens if your building them.

So sick, Will! I know the paint on my CF fenders weighs more than the actual fenders themselves do. I'm really curious as to your overall weight savings when you're done. Keep us posted!

Ummm...yea?

No seriously why doesn't it look real? And Im sure at some point I will have the fenders painted since randy said the sun will hurt the raw Carbon Fiber.
