I am in the market to buy one now to get more chassis work done. Looking to be able to do at the most 2" up to .250" wall.

Any brands or styles to look for or stay away from?

Looking for a Tube Bender? Tube and Pipe Benders at Baileigh Industrial | Baileigh Industrial (http://metal.baileighindustrial.com/metalworking/tube-and-pipe-benders)

I have the smaller rdb-100 I like it. You will have to go bigger but I like their products.

I just bought a JD Squared that should fit your needs. I paid around $800 for the bender, the stand , and one set of shoes.

Summit caries a Woodford that looks to be a knockoff of the JD Squared. It is a bit cheaper, but, I'm unsure of the quality.

I have an old pull type bender that has never failed me when working with mild steel. When I tried to bend CM with it, she just kinked. The two benders mentioned above have a following shoe that keeps the tubing up in the bending shoe and this is a must with the CM.

I use a JD2 bender with an air over hydraulic cylinder, works great. I use it for all the tube work on my rock crawlers.
