I cant remember if this truck was posted on this site or another one. I was wondering if anyone knows what size Rize lift this is... Im thinking its a 10" Rize(seeing how you cant get a 12" for the 08s yet.) Do those tires look like just 38"s?

Thanks guys

Big sidewalls make the truck wonder . Its not good for off roading but great for the street.

Possibly a 12" lift tires look like 40's on 22" rims

i would guess 40" tires on 22"s and about a 12-14" lift

40" Toyos
22x14 XD Diesels
14" lift (8" RIZE stretched to 14")

(I have a good memory :D)

it would look so much better with rize ladder bars though...

Stretched to 12.5"...Its the 8" coils, 2.5" top spacer, and 2" lower spacer. The trac bar and drag link were both cut and sleeved, and the drag link is risking maxing out the drag link ends.

Not really a recommended steering setup...itd be nice if Rize would make that steering crossmember for the 08s, but they say there are no plans.

You sure about that???

#1: Your memory sucks azz :shake:

#2: Seems to clear the 40s pretty well for only being a 12.5".

I thought Joe said it was a 14", but I could be wrong.
Clearing the 40s about as well as Bear Hunter who has a 15-16" on his 07

yea, that's more than 12.5". The 08s are a tad higher but that looks to be about 14", in my humble opinion..... :fish:

Junior (Jesse LOL ),

Here's Joe's response when asked on the height of that truck when he posted pics:

It's about 14" of lift with 40" yoyo's.

Basically the same truck....not really, but similar.......just be sitting down when you ask the price of that One Up Offroad suspension LOL

Better bring $20k+ to the party just for suspension and steering...

Ah.
Not sure what Marty lists his 08 at height wise on his site....but he's ~18" of lift.

Same big azz 22x14s though.

I was gonna say...TT's truck is a "little" different then that one...So to do a 12" lift on a 08 what do i need to do for steering? Cross over? Does anyone know if i can clear a set of 40-41"s with just 10"?

Thanks

No one makes a crossover knuckle for the 05-08 SDs.

Rize doesn't make their idler arm setup either.

Marty runs a dual hydraulic assist setup on his 08.

A skinny 40-41 should fit under a 10". Even a 40/15.50 may fit with the right wheel width, backspacing.
Afterall, I ran 40" Toyos on 20x10s under my truck which is only 9.25" over stock and the 08s have larger wheel well openings.

I've seen plenty of 37s under 4.5" lifts and even some 37s stuffed under a leveling kit of an 08....so I would think 40-41s should clear under a 10"

Junior....Also from Joe...

"I'm holding out for the rize ones lol. Here's a couple of pics of my friends 08. He started out with an 9.5" rize kit streched it to 14" an the 4-link bars worked out find because of the adjustability. I'm assuming there are the same ones they use for their 12" kit."

"Yeah they sleeved the trac bar(rigged) and bent the drag link(rigged). I don't care for the work. He didn't want to wait for them to come out with a bigger kit."

"Me too. That's a 2.5" upper spacer and a 2" lower if you were wondering. And those fox's ride f'n awesome."

I dont know of a Rize 9.5" kit... or any coils bigger than the 8"s...therefore i dont know of any way to get higher than 12.5" without coilovers :kick:

:Cheer:

He could have done the 8" coils, 4" upper and 2" lower.

Either way, you are a moron and you have the memory of a 60yr old.....in the body of a 12yr old.

hmmm...So i think im gonna go 8" Rize with a 2" spacer(upper or lower?) American Force Super Single 22"s, and 41/14.5/22s

Think that would work? Think the steering will hold up?

On an 08? Should clear those tires, if you plan to run the 14" wide rims though, you may be pushing it....not on a 05-07 by a longshot though.

You can go upper or lower. I prefer lower, but DR upper 2.5"s are so easy to come by.

I got a 06 350 with 8 " rize lift. Bought some new rims that are 20x12 with 37X20x13.5 toyos. The rims are dick cepek. The problem is they rub compared to the 10 inch wide rims i had before.Must be the offset.Whats the cheapest way to get some more lift out of this suspension or should I just get rid of those wheels.Seem to have more wander now too any suggestions on that?

The guy that has that truck lives by my me. Not sure how big his lift is but I know he's def got 22's with 40's. I have a 8.5" lift on my 08 with 38's and 24's and I still have to look up at him.

I agree with you dude. I like the truck but it needs way bigger tires, the front looks stupid in my opinion. I would rather see it lower with those size tires, too much space between the tires and the wheel wells.
