View Full Version : 07 Intermittent haze?

Hey guys, trying to figure out an issue for a buddy. He has an 07 LBZ with just over 100k, all stock minus an intake and exhaust. He's having an intermittent bluish white haze at idle and while driving. No loss of power or coolant issues or anything but the haze. The rail pressure is reading about 4,400 at idle which seems to be good from what I gather? (I'm used to working on cummins') I'm assuming given the mileage and the rail pressure still being good that there's an injector issue?

Any input or other thoughts on this would be appreciated,

Tyler

All ambient temps and no real rhyme or reason

It sounds like injectors, from your description. I'd get someone with a tech II to ramp up the rail pressure and check desired vs actual.

Sorry for the late reply, I have access to a tech II. But your saying to ramp it up to make sure that the injection pump is keeping rail pressure basically?
