heat um and hit with grease can work or you can buy a tool they make for clogged or stuck grease fittings.

Replace them. The time you spend screwing with them you can replace and be done with it. More then likely the grease at the end of zirt is hard as a rock and will need to be cleaned out anyway.

X2... It's not worth screwing around with them. Chances are even if you get grease in, the ball will get stuck and the grease will push back out.

Adapting a grease fitting line to a porta-power has worked for me. $.02

Heat or replace. I personally keep a large stock on hand to just replace whenever the need arises

This x1000, dig the crap out 2-3 times and hit it with the porta-power and heat. There isn't anything that can top that.

U could alway pull the pins out then get it to take grease then reassemble that's how I've bad to do some that won't take grease

I usually just heat with a torch around the grease fitting with a hand grease gun on the fitting with some pressure on the fitting and they usually just pop and take grease. Have to watch out you dont get to much heat on fitting or end on the grease gun or else it will melt the rubber seal in the grease gun tip. Some fittings dont unclog when you put a new fitting because the grease and dirt have formed a hard cap over the hole where it reaches the pin and the grease fitting has nothing to do with it. Work on heavy equipment where removing the pin is not always an option.
