Almost all I ever see are made for exhaust. Will they hold up to 80+ psi?

Ace race 304 bellows is what I'm using in my setups. and seem to be holding up fine. I havent pushed them past 70psi but dont see an issue with 80+

Most people seem to say leave one boot somewhere. I'm thinking if you wanted 100% vband you'd want 2 bellows to take up the slack unless you've got aftermarket engine mounts to control it more.

Probably v band intake and compressor outlet and run boots on the intercooler.

If you want zero boots, get some VanJen clamps as already mentioned. They have a good amount of angular and offset misalignment, and have about 1/4" axial movement if I remember right. They aren't cheap, but neither are v-bands. And you can eliminate all the v-bands by using the VanJens. And they can be easier to assemble than v-bands if there is any pipe strain in your system.

The vanjens aren't as great as they are made out to be, at least the vibrant ones. They are supposedly rated to 120 psi but i've blown up 5 of them at 100ish psi. The pressure blows the end out of the clamp, so I had some steel ones made up and haven't had a problem with them yet.

Depends on the size of them. The bigger the joint, the less they are rated for. IIRC, on Torrey's truck they had an issue with the pins in the clamps bending, but nothing failing. That was on a single charger around 80 psi.
