Figured I'd share my randomness. Wanted to convert my stock trans cooler and trans to all -an. What better way to eliminate them push lock's and expensive lines plus I deleted the heat exchanger.

Why did you delete the heat exchanger?

Why did you delete the heat exchanger?

It's not really needed for my application. And I'm not a fan of the cross contamination possibility.

Did this a couple years ago when when my exchanger started leaking. I ran AN line to the bed for an auxiliary trans cooler then replaced the rest of the lines as well to and from the factory cooler.

I don't have a picture of mine, but I bought a Summit flare tool and converted the lines from the heat exchanger and the front section radiator.

Aeroquip hose with Earl fittings and haven't ever had a leak! Bone dry!

I will do this if heat becomes an issue. But I haven't seen temps over 170.
