Ok friends, I have my Edge (just delivered) to unlock my 2013. Now the next step is choosing a tuner person for my efi live. Ive read that HPP, PPEI, Anarchy, and Firepunk are good.

Who are you using, and why? What can you tell me about the tunes? I deffinitly want transmission tuning. What power levels did you get with your tuning?

Step by step, but I will get there.

Personally I have firepunks tuning. But have flashed trucks for people with PPEI an never had a problem. I think on a stock truck that either tuner is probly very close to the same. I chose firerpunk just for the fact he is closer to me, an I felt that a guy that has built tranny’s for a living would have better under standing on trans tunes but that’s just my 2 cents.

For a stock truck most tuning is going to be very similar from reputable guys. The thing I would personally focus on is customer service. Pick somebody reasonably close to you, or that you can get ahold of very very easily. Just my .02.

You don't need to go to them for a basic tune aka stock truck . They will email you tunes or you can order a preloaded auto cal.

I have anarchy on my 14, good clean tunes for my g56. At least the tow and eco are clean, haven’t played with the others yet.

Some I see give free transmission tuning, while others charge for it. I am tight as bark on a tree, so free works on the transmission tunes.

I vote for Fleece/ Oz or Ben Shadday at Done Right Diesel.

For trans tuning, you will be best off to install the BD68 protect kit. That kit will allow line pressure to be bumped up.

Calibrated Addictions does free trans tuning if I remember right.... But they are in Texas.

Is Hardway still tuning? I had read where they have done something different, but can not remember if it was for the average customer, or just something else.

Well I'm running his tunes on my 2015 , got them year and half ago. Maybe things have changed but I just got my 06 tunes 3 months ago from him and they are great!

Talk with your tuner. Most tuners “free” trans tuning is VERY basic compared to what you pay for... I do nothing more than shift points for free trans. Advanced trans costs but has many more benefits.
