Starts then dies, then runs fine.

My 2017 2500 will start and then every now and again it will die about a second later.

I have to turn the key off, open the door so the truck shuts completely off, then it will start fine and run.

Ideas?

Sounds like a security feature. There are devices that bypass ignition security (commonly used in remote start). Might be worth trying that.
