Got some vids today of my truck. Truck has 4inch MBRP turbo back exhaust, and a Quadzilla Stealth 2 tuner. These vids were taken with the Quadzilla on the highest setting (110hp). It runs great but my only gripe is the defueling on the shifts. But since my transmission is still stock, thats probably a good thing. Thanks to CumminsDriver for the video work.

looks like its pretty strong..any reason why you went with the quad instead of the PPE?

Is that the defueling that's stopping the tires from spinning on what sounds like the 1-2 shift?

Yeah and it sucks. My Goerend 47re will bang the gears. With the allison its like you push the clutch in and shift gears or something. I know a lot of it has to do with programming. Ive seen some Dmaxes pull and on the 1-2 shift you can actually see all 4 tires stop spinning and then when it gets into 2nd they start spinnin again.

No doubt the PPE is probably a better tuner, but their regular tuners are $750 and the "race" model is $1000. They only offer the DPF delete option with the race tuner. Im satisfied with the quadzilla. Its got the most bang for the buck. $399 shipped to my door.

thats why i bought my superchips, got the 3 tunes i wanted for 390.00 shipped. I run the mid level at 85 hp and truck doesnt even mind it. Im not looking for much more anyway seeing as how i drive 80 miles a day and want to stay somewhat reliable.

Not bad for the 08's........What made you buy a Duramax ? over the other 2....Not being an a$$ just wondering

what kinda mileage are you seeing stock vs. the quad box? im curious on both, have a friend looking at the new trucks but he wants good fuel mileage and wonders what he will get with the LMM.

Wow that defuel is horible. An Edge EVO would put it to shame and shift 100% better for the same price.
