so i want it. bad. and i saw around here someone was talkin about the lb7s being able to use V1(the cheaper one) and the only downside was it was only usable with a laptop.(no big deal for me) so the question is are there any other upsides to V2 other than the standalone capability or is that it?

Ability to tune LBZs and LMM along with stand alone logging and tuning with the V2 are the two main benefits to V2. It also has more licenses... well, sorta. With V1, for instance, it takes two licenses to tune the engine and transmission for a single vehicle. With V2, it only takes one license to tune both the engine and transmission for a single vehicle.

Those are the main differences that immediately come to mind there may be some others that I am forgetting.

If it's worth anything to you, I have an LB7 and just have V1.
