what psi will it blow off at? will it work on my truck?

they dont pop at a point. They open when there is a difference between the 2 ports. On a gasser they lead to opposite sides of the throttle plate. On a diesel, you need to trigger a air solenoid to dump pressure off of one side to open it.
you would trigger it to open when you are at idle, so when you let off to shift it opens.
