I have a used HTT 64/71 with a stainless housing. The turbo did not have much operating time on it probably between 5000 and 7000 miles. The compressor wheel has some minor nicks in it. The turbo was working just fine when it was pulled to install a 66mm. 1100 bucks Give me youe e-mail if you want pics of the compressor wheel.

Well, Im not sure. We installed this turbo and about a month later the guy said that he replaced it with a II 66mm turbo and the shop that installed the 66 said this one was junk. He said he never noticed anything abnormal with it. I spoke with HTT and they said that they can install a new wheel but I dont want to mess with it. I will just sell it and cut my losses. Part of doing business. I know I can get more out of it but I I just want to rid of it.

Did they say what it would cost to fix it?

They wont really say without looking at it and tearing it down. They seemed to think somewhere between 200- 500 depengine on if they put bearings in it or not. They feel fine and the shaft is not bent. I think a guy could get off cheaper... but I really cant say.

Looks like someone ran it with a dirty filter or no filter and ate it up. I had my htt in to them 2 months ago and it only cost me 300 for complete rebuild this should be that extensive to fix. Great buy for someone.
