1995 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 diesel may need head gasket or ?????????????
Power everything current registration newer tires.

I can pick this thing up for $800 and I'm really needing a good daily driver. Don't know the miles or anything, tired of driving my street bike to work and back in the rain...

How much work is involved if it is a headgasket or could it be something else? injector pump? don't know much, well anything really, about the old chevy engines...

don't want to spend much more that the asking price on fixing the engine.

point me in the right direction!

6.5 motors are easy to work on.

What are the symptoms? There is a big difference between a head gasket and a pump.

I don't know the symptoms yet, just don't want to get in over my head you know. what would the price be on a new pump and a gear drive to replace the chain?

One thing to remember about the 6.5 is they have a tendency to crack the head rather than blow the head gasket.

I'm going to pass this one up, it turned out to be a 2 door tahoe, not what i was looking for anyways.

That'd make a nice 4BT project vehicle
