cummins red?

anyone know what color cummins signature red is? just red?

also what color should i go with painting some things under hood?

There was a place on eBay I think that sold Cummins engine paint. I think I have a few cans of red I was gonna use to paint my engine. I decided to paint the block black and have some things powdercoated either silver or the body color of the truck (Flame Red).

I think they call it ISX red and walk in price at cummins is around $8 per can. Personally I would just use high temp engine paint that is red.

Don't use the dupli-color engine paint with ceramic. It chips off way too easily. I am going to have to spend a lot of time touching up my engine after I finish the conversion.-Nicholas

i just bought 2 cans @ a kenworth dealer, its Cummins brand but the paint color is APEX RED part #3163075. It is a "certified Cummins color" so it says on the can.

3163075 is the cummins part number. like said above its about $8 a can. Any big truck(Kenworth, peterbilt, freightliner) dealer should carry it. Also any Cummins dealer should have it too.
