We had a nice time at the event, good to see everyone show up for the normal racing B.S. session, watched John get to make some rounds in the Funny car for some testing, Ray held his own from what I heard on the bounty race but blew a injector line and limped home.

Good to hang out with the old faces and meet the new ones, looking forward to the dyno event in late June, should be a good show. Might have to do something different at the next event, the last 45 min of the trip at 3:00am was a rough drive.

Thanks to all of our ODRA members and everyone who came out to support Tim’s DFW Charity Race League and The ODRA Bounty Race at North Star Dragway Saturday, May 31st North Star Dragway (www.northstardragway.com) . Approximately 200 people came out in direct support of Tim’s DFW Charity Race League. We had 40+ ODRA trucks and a ton of members, friends and family support.

We had Time Trials, Heads Up and a $500 Outlaw Bounty Race sponsored by NADM (National Association of Diesel Motorsports). We had one Bounty Race between Lee Allgood in his 2004 LB7 and Ray Salters in his 2001 Dodge. It was a close race but Ray is still our current title holder.

ODRA gave a portion of all sales of our shirts, stickers and koozies to the Charities along with the proceeds for the donated Bully Dog PMT (performance management tool) valued at $1100+ that was raffled off. Tim’s DFW Charity Racing League donated the tech card gate fees.

All proceeds went directly to
Texas Tailwaggers Village Rescue www.txtailwaggers.petfinder.com
and
Hickory Creek Animal Shelter
http://www.hickorycreek-tx.gov/wag- n-walk-2008
both 501C3 non-profit charities.
Donations totaled over $500.

The Winner of the Bully Dog PMT was Matt Currin out of Denton, TX.

A special thanks goes out to John from Texas Diesel Power for bringing out his tube chassis 12V funny car, it was Awesome to watch!!!

We want to thank North Star Dragway for a excellent night. Thanks to all of our Race Night sponsors FASS (www.fassride.com), Cyclone Diesel (www.cyclonediesel.com), Bully Dog (www.bullydog.com) and Texas Diesel Power (www.texasdieselpower.com), Rowdy Motorsports (www.rowdymotorsports.com), Charlie and his club from Diesel Truck Resource.com, Kevin and his Club North Texas Powerstrokes and everyone for a great night.
