I made a test 1/4 mile pass (from the side of the freeway) to check egts and yikes! Gauge was pegged at 1600 by about 70mph. As the truck started to defuel, the gauge came back off the peg at about 85mph. Even though my :nos: still isn't working right (600psi bottle pressure, too small of a nozzle, etc.) I turned on the bottle and made a run. Wow! even though I am maybe getting only about 40hp worth of nitrous, it sure works well as an intercooler! Gauge never went above 1300 degrees. I'm sold on da bottle for drag racing purposes.

what size jet you running? I will be doing some nitrous tuning on a 1st gen tomorrow night at the track.

I'm running a .070 jet, but my bottle pressure is all the way down at 600psi, should be 1000 or so, so I'm getting about half what I should. Let me know how it runs!

It was my brothers truck that we were dialing in. Picked up 7 tenths with a 70 jet.
