Throwing codes? New exhaust

a friend of mine took out his stock exhaust on his 08 6.7, now the truck is throwing codes, he also installed all the fittings for the stock sensors and lines, and also an edge juice. Now the truck throws codes, immediately apon startup. The edge will immediately clear the codes, but they just come back.

he needs a fooler from one of the companies that builds delete kits i am assuming that is what he did just putting the fittings in the exhaust will not work
