I have a 95 dt466 NGD that smoked like crazy.
The pump was repaired in the laboratory, changes in the pump valves, injection nozzles, and the problem persist.
I found something they did to the AFC:
They sliding the fuel plate forward and also sliding the starwheel full forward.
I decided then set the AFC housing closer to the middle, and spin the star wheel about three revolutions away from the engine of full forward. Yes the spring has a good tension.
The black smoke is still much. What can I do???. Adjusting the famous smoke screw???
