A step side is the manufacturers way of lightening the load so yu don't break it :doh:

Scott, putting a chevy bed on a dodge is as bad as putting a jap diesel in a chevy. :)

This one is a Chevy bed but Dodge did make a stepside bed for a year or two. There is a truck in Bowling Green and one in Glasgow that has them. The gas filler is located on the rear of the bed, not on the front side of the bed and the tail lights are different. When I first saw them I thought it was a chevy bed as well.
Why would you go and waste a perfectly good bed on that truck?

I have seen custom fiberglass stepside beds for Ram in eBay.
