Vin code for 98 12v or 24v

[06 DIESEL]

I am looking at a 98 and the guy does not know if it is a 12v or 24v and can not produce any pictures but I have the vin of the truck. Is there a certain place marker that defines it?

6 -> 5.9 Liter I6 24 Valve Diesel
7 -> 5.9 Liter I6 24 Valve HO Diesel (2001)
D -> 5.9 Liter I6 Diesel
