I plan on dynoing this sat(21st) on a dyno jet about 50 miles from my house. My goal is to break 400hp. I havent set up my sig yet but i will give it to you.

titanitum keepers and hardened retainers
60lb valve springs
4kgsk
0 plate full forward
pre boost screw all the way in
medium tension spring in the afc
star wheel full forward
5in straight exhaust
400 hp SBC clutch
ATS AK5/AK2 twins
SW gauges, 2 boost, pyro and fuel pressure
50psi at idle and 30 psi at WOT fuel pressure

that is everything, i have not left out one thing. Timing is not done yet. During winter i will set timing to 18-19, large fuel lines, and the mack plug, then i will fine tune my pump.

My question is: will i break 400hp as is, (i hope so) and if not what can i do to get a little more fuel before i go? I was thinking of doing the washer mod but i dont want to have the issue discussed(falling out of the keeper), but if it is safe and all i can do for now i will do it. Basically i am looking for 400 right now and will tune so i can get it. any tips are welcomed.

Thanks Rick

400rwhp on stock sticks and turbo?

I would shoot to break 300 and be happy with that number honestly.. The dyno is the ultimate humble pie machine.

thank you. Do you think it is worth my time to do the washer mod before i go or just wait. I dont want to have my rack fall out by doing this, that is what worries me. I plan on doing the mack plug but not right now.

Also if i was to also back off my starwheel some and slide my plat back could i gain anything or am i good in that dept.

thanks rick

one last question. what do u mean by modify the afc lever? thnaks for the patience.

AFC lever: it cant travel as far forward as the plate will let it , so i ground a good part of of the front of the afc lever(the part where it rides on, it hits against the front of the afc housing), Oh and to remove it, you screw out the 10mm bolt, and take out the rod (it has a plate w an oval hole on the end) i also took apart the diaphram part of the afc housing, put a small washer between the AFC rod and the front of the diapram, so it will travel further forward, if you know what i mean... ill try to get up gics soon of afc modding, you can see it once you take it apart!
