First you are going to need to check the laws and any re-inspections for your state. Most states allow repowers but the new engine MUST be the same year or newer as the vehicle to have a legal registration!! You may be limited to a CR

Second, you will need a 05 or newer Diesel SuperDuty instrument cluster and possibily a diesel pcm (not sure if the gas pcm has the same pin out for the gauges)

Best thing to do is either call BEANS Diesel or Autoworld.... http://www.autoworldmt.com/ they can help you with all your needs

im doing one as we speak..but not a v10... I started with a 6leaker

there are no laws that i can find and we dont have emissions test either so we should be in the clear

Not sure why you would need a diesel ecu or instruments, just liek if it had a 6.0 in it pull the coolant temp and oil pressure senders out of the V10 and put in the 12v and pull those wires out of the Forad harness and hook those back up to the Ford PCM, this will make those gauges in the dash work. To make the tach work you will probably need a 58 tooth tone ring from a CR and a autometer pickup and use the v10 crank/cam sensor wires to wire into it to make the dash tach work. You will need to change converters to fit the stall speed needed for the 12v and that will also fit the billet flex plate.

Few other things but not too bad.

If your V10 is in good running condition I may be interested. I need a v10.

Where do you live that there are no emission standards on a gas engine?

Just like bdp said, no need for a diesel ecm or gauges... I used a box from dakota digital to run my tach off my alternator. I went with a 48RE and sold both the V10 and the 4r100. ($1000 for the V10 and $500 for the 4r100 w/ 100k on them). If you have any questions, ask away, the forums are a great resource...

There are no inspections in Georgia.
