At what point does the trans need an upgrade? Will an upgrade help a stock system? Who builds?

I run an MP-8 and DPF delete.... dynoed 420hp and 750tq. It seems to be holding up at that power level. I have felt a little converter shutter from time to time. Suncoast makes a great converter or full built trans. I know Fleece performance has installed one on INDIANAFARMBOY's 6.7..... it runs strong with PMT, MP-8 and delete.

I wonder how much difference there is with a well built trans? Rather, what the differences really are?

The stock trans clutches are single sided, which will help them hold more power with just a TC upgrade. Suncoast also has upgraded clutchs too. Better materials. No one has really made enough HP yet to have billet part made either. A couple are in the mid 500 and a couple over 600. Once we start jumping into injectors and turbo upgrades (which is being done) then we will see how the 68 really holds up.
