Cutoff valve?

Don't currently own a 6.7, but I am thinking about it. I was just wondering if anybody has tried a cutoff valve to bypass the dpf and possibly the egr, thereby leaving the possibility to pass emissions if and when the time comes for that? Forgive me if this has already been addressed and if so, please just supply me the link, as I couldn't find it. '03 HO owner, BTW.

That idea would work, but the only problem would be trying to get it to fit, it would be a hassle. I think it is a could idea, just make sure you have the correct box to run stait pipe.
