First off I just wanted to say Hi and thank you. I have been using the input from here to help me figure out what was wrong with my 1997 F350. I am new to the forum here and just wanted to see if there are any modified Injector Drive Modules avialable. I have not been able to find any but i have to replace mine and since i already have to get one i would love to get more power at the same time. I would greatly appreciate any input you all have I am still learning all the ins and outs with the powerstroke.

Thank You

talk to Bean they modify them but i am sure you gotta have a good one to send in. Or get on ebay and look around you can find good deals there.

Ya i dont have a good one other than what is in my truck now. I got lucky and my dad had one laying around. I found stock reman ones for 250 but ford wants 900 for one. I have heard of a mod for them but was kinda curious to what experience you all have had with it. Thank you for any input you can give.

If yo ugot a good one send it in to Bean and have him modify it. What they do is change a resistor an give it more voltage . Converts it form a 100 volt to 140. Some trucks notice a big change I did not so much. My truck never likes the cheap mods for some reason.

You can buy a later year IDM which puts out more output voltage. Mine is a 2001 version.
