To all PDRA members,

The Diesel Drag Racing Association (DDRA) has recently merged with the Pro Diesel Racers Association (PDRA), a newly-formed organization designed to genuinely represent diesel drag racing enthusiasts. The DDRA, the longest-running and most respected diesel race venue, will now be known as the PDRA and all current DDRA memberships will be honored.

We welcome you all.

Two new good-will actions will be implemented right away. The first is to "turn back the clocks" to 1986, when the DDRA was first formed, by lowering membership fees to $20.00.

The second is to donate 25% of every membership fee to Children's Hospital in the "PDRA Racers for Kids" program. Membership will be notified of details each time a donation is made.

There will be no charge to be on our emailing list for upcoming events. The PDRA is an organization by the people, for the people. We will make diesel truck and specialty drag racing better than ever by ensuring that sponsor money goes where it belongs: to racer awards, sponsor product visibility, and the promotion of diesel drag races.

We are improving operations by communicating electronically with members, along with paper mailings that will be offered on request. The Diesel Drag News will also be continued. Your new member web site is www.prodieselracersassociation.com . Please refer to the site for updates and questions. We are also updating the site.

Your patience during this transition is appreciated. We look forward to serving you and racing alongside you while doing so. Best wishes to you all in the upcoming race season.

Just don't understand why a membership fee now. When before there was none. Not beacthing about the fee, why is there one now?

Can't be because of a donation, I could make a donation to the Seattle or Tacoma childrens hospital too.
