axle shaft on that run (power to one wheel pushes truck off course and he has to correct it 2-3 times) there is another video where he busted a transmission input or output shaft and still won coasting the last 300'

not even watter/meth? guess that would be considered drugs..

ANother thing would soemone please explain "P Pump" please" I assume they dont come on a 24v? DO they come with a 12v? PLease let me know what advantages and disadvantages of the p pump in a 24v with drag racing in mind.

I know these are newb questions, tia.

SmokerP-pump is a P-7100 mechanical Injection Pump, it comes on the 94- 98- 12Valve engines, it is the big daddy:bow: of injection pumps. There is no fueling enhancement boxes needed for these pumps, not needed, you would manually tune this pump compared to a Vp-44 style pump, or the newer CP3 style pump which you would use a electronic adjustable fuel enhancement box to adjust the fuel delivery rate.

:blahblah1:

Most guys usually remove the Vp pumps on their 24V and swap on the earlier P-Pump, this swap is for the guys who are really serious about building high hp. The VP has been proven to be unreliable for BIG power building, some have taken them to some pretty respectable numbers but again the P-pump has seemingly always been the true injection pump of choice. The innovators have grasped the newer Common rail CP3 style pumps as these have been more effective over the VP's and also deliver a higher psi in the injection cycle and these innovators have upped the performance on these CP3's and they have so far been more reliable than the VP's.

But to most of us a modded P-pump rules the roost.:rockwoot:

Sorry guys a buddy of mine just called to tell me about this post. Bubba is a 2001 24v 2wd.I back halfed the truck in the spring of 03 p-pump and twins in 04, and yeah it's organic B-100 canola oil is all it gets no drugs or alc, I just got home with the truck from the chassis tuners in chilliwak complete front struts, and a whole lot more brakes, net loss of 380 lbs off the front axle. just have to freshen the trans now and go play another season. :thankyou2: :thankyou2:

thanks for the reply, I will look for a p pump, does anything electronic in a 24v have to communicate with the stock 24b injection pump? (so if i take the stock one off and put the p pump on, will I have to tie any loose ends up?), Can u run chips with the p pump? I know this is all newb questions sorry. Another thing what is the deal with the "913" pump I saw one off ebay saying it was a sought after one.

There is alot more involved to this swap than just locating a P-pump....

12valve gear case
P-pump
P-pump gear
P-pump to 24v injection lines
And the electrical conversion....
ect ect

You cannot run any type of fueling boxes with a P-pump, they only work on electronically controlled pumps and the P-pump is mechanical, any adjustments to the P-pump will involve lifting the hood and climbing in the engine bay with tools as opposed to hitting a button......

What exactly are you looking for in terms of performance?

Some companies have complete conversion kits to do this swap.

And some people find that these conversions are twitchy for street useage, others know how to tune for this and have success with this conversion and street useage.... You need to figure where you want to be with your truck in terms of performance and useage....$.02

With that I would like to steer this thread back onto the main topic,

The Bubba Bee.

the only major changes this year will be the chassis changes and re certify the chassis 7:50is current till april , other than that just some more tunning.

we are currently running a dana 60 narrowed 35spline axle with spool ridding on 33x17-15
