shifter linkage?

do I need to buy a aftermarket floor shifter or can I mod my factory colume shifter linkage to work the 47rh? and I am controling lock up and od with toggles. I am willing to buy a aftermarket shifter like a turbo action cheetah but I dont know if it will come with the right brackets? thanks

We used a lokar cable shift adapter that uses a cable shift with the GM column and a B&m cable bracket on the trans.
