Looks Good! I am really digging the valve cover choice.

It was very easy and cheap. I sand blasted it in the shop. then polised the raised ribs etc... then put vasoline on the parts you dont want paint to stick.

then primer and several coats of paint.

take a razor blade and remove areas where the vasoline was and clean wipe everything clean then apply several coats of clear coat.

Worked very nice. Just be gentle pulling cover in and out of engine bay

yea im doing the same. no need to waste the time on the cam sensor when all you gotta do is install a $17 external voltage regulator

well on my 12v i didnt use the crank sensor or the cam sensor the oil psi and tach dont work. the reason the oil psi dont work is because its a calculated figure, it uses engine rpm and AIT to give you a reading. and if the oil "sensor" reads below 10psi it drops the gauge to 0 and you get the check gauges light!!

you have spacers all around or just up front? the back spacing on my wheels puts mine out about 3" from the fender...dunno if i wanna go wider tho.

wait til you hook it to a sled...it makes it all worth it.

OK. the ATS arc flow intake does sit a little too high. Hood shuts fine but i went to check the oil in it the other day and the plastic t-handle end of the dipstick had been broken off. so the hood must get just close enough to pop that off. Relocation to come

hey if ya dont mind my asking is is that a valvecover breather of some sort on the passenger side of your valvecover?

baprewitt
05-12-2010, 10:02 AM
crank case ventilation. it has a hose running to exhaust and as exhaust gasses move past metal tube welded into downpipe it creates a vaccum and pulls out crank case pressure.. same as running 3 or 4 breathers on tope of valvecover
